Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our site. The public site and the in-cottage guest guide are built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA where practical.

What we do

• Real text everywhere (never text-in-images).
• Keyboard reachable across the whole site.
• Sensible focus outlines on every interactive control.
• Skip-to-content links on both marketing and guest pages.
• Descriptive alt text on uploaded images.
• Semantic HTML and proper heading structure.
• The guest guide is mobile-first with 44 px minimum tap targets and works one-handed.
• The emergency contact is always one tap away on the guest guide.

Known limits

Some uploaded photos may be missing alt text if we haven’t got round to editing them yet, we’re fixing this on an ongoing basis. If you find a page that doesn’t work for you, please tell us.
